The Library subscribes to online healthcare literature and evidenced-based resources such as databases and peer-reviewed journals.

- Literature Request Service is available to support patient care, decision making, service & quality improvement, guideline and policy development. You can request a literature search by sending me as much detail of the required search. Literature searches for personal academic study are not provided.

The Library blog provides links to databases and journals, e-learning, bereavement support and palliative care. Regular posts are added on the Library blog in palliative and care of the older person. These are available HERE
Bereavement Support; Information to support those who are bereaved is available on our blog HERE. It contains bereavement support services in the Mid-West as well as useful leaflets, websites and short videos.
Who can use the Library? The Library is available to staff, students on placement, volunteers and the bereavement support service.
We have an online account for audio/e-books if patients want to access them on their own devices. We provide a mobile library in client/resident/ patient areas from time to time.
Education & Training: Training or education sessions can be provided to staff or your department on how to search any of our databases or if you want a short tour on how to access the Library evidence-based resources. Please contact me to arrange a session that suits you.
